Happy monday and back to school day everyone

I shared a promotion with you all last week for My Digital studio and am taking full advantage of it

Id like to share one of the downloads I made last week - getting ready for xmas

Isnt it fab.....im going to print it off and place it in a SU decorated frame and display it for xmas

Festive friday

Happy FRIDAY everyone

today Im introducing a new feature

FESTIVE FRIDAY

Each Friday I will be sharing with you projects made by me ready Christmas :)

Now Im excited as I LOVE CHRISTMAS

It is my favorite time of the year as Im sure it is for many people

its a time to eat drink and be merry

and of course for me create some GORGEOUS projects that I display around my home

One of my goals is to have ALL hand made decorations but this will take time

I also love to see what other people create at this time of year and for my 1st Festive Friday am going to feature a very dear friend of mine

Catherine decided that she needed to get organised this year and purchased the 

Season of Style This and That Journal

She attended my Kankiepopscards Craft and Chat Crop at the weekend and produced this

The journal cover is absolutely gorgeous and she has already started adding notes inside

She used the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder (120902 £7.50) and the Snowflake Die (sadly now retired)

I cant wait to see the journal grow as Im sure it will while she continues to plan and organise herself for many christmases to come

MDS Monday :)

Yes I know it is Tuesday :)

However I was on a fantastic workshop yesterday with the kids which involved scrapbooking and the in the afternoon we did pottery and made a family tree bowl which I will share with you all once I get it back all painted and fired

Stamp with us challenge

Good afternoon

Well there is a sprinkling of sunshine across Wigan this afternoon

As some of you are aware I am admin to a new challenge page on Facebook called Stamp with us

Every 2 weeks we set a challenge using Stampin' Up products then we ohh and ahhh at the gorgeous projects we receive

The 1st challenge was to create a project of any type - card/scrapbook page/3D

and here is our very first wining project by the talented Sarah Costello

Sarah kindly sent me a little blurb about herself:

Thank you so much for choosing me as your winner - I'm very pleased.
I've been crafting for several years and I've tried everything but papercrafting is my favourite. I enjoyed crafting with my daughter when she was little and I do lots of craft with my Rainbows and Brownies.
I just love stamping because you can take a few simple supplies and create something lovely. I like card-making but I really like to make things for my home and gifts for friends. I'm a big fan of "up-cycling"!! I love to scour charity shops for stuff!
My day job is a Staff Nurse on a busy medical ward so crafting is my therapy.
I love SU products of course! I like the way everything co-ordinates  and the colours are so pretty. I've got all the inkpads but not the in colour ones  (yet!!)  and I'd love some matching cardstock but I can't justify it really as I have lots of card already!!
I also love Waltzingmouse stamps and my dies and embossing folders, oh and Anna Griffin too.
I do have a blog but I haven't written it over the summer but now the nights are drawing in again I'll try and post more!

MDS Monday

Good afternoon from a very dull and wet Wigan

Its already half term in my house so for the next 2 weeks (yes 2 weeks) I will have the 2 little ones running around the house looking for things to do so I putting together an activity planner for us to complete and yes there will be lots of crafting on it

Also over the next 2 weeks I need to plan and prepare for my monthly crop, I have a christmas workshop to prepare and I have my swaps for the Stampin' Up Convention to complete
