How was Yours?

So Christmas is over :(

I trust you all had a fabulous time and Santa left you lots of crafting goodies under the tree.
l didn t get any crafting goodies but lots of pennies to spend on crafting goodies so I'm happy

I didnt do much crafting over Christmas except to make a birthday card for my son who turned 7 on Christmas Day (l planned that one well didnt I?)

l use the owl punch-which is fast becoming one of my favorites.
I love how versatile the punch is-keep your eyes open for more fabulous projects made with it.

Did you manage to do any crafting over the holidays?

Happy Mail :)

Hi everyone

I received this email today from a customer and it has brightened up my day :)

Hi Jamie
I received my order this morning and wanted to thank you for your fantastic customer service and the way you handled my query.
I am new to Stampin Up and came across you online via your blog posts on facebook.
The Stampin' Up products look fantastic and although I haven't had the time to play with my recent purchase I cant wait to order more.
I have mobility issues and do alot of my craft shopping online - some retailers are like a machine dealing with customers in a conveyor belt fashion however you were extremely friendly and didn't hound me into making any decisions, you gave me helpful advice and honest opinions on products, I asked lots of questions and you didn't seem to be in a hurry - just happy to help
Thank you again and I will be in touch soon with another order

I was having a bad morning and then I read this :)

Kerri I am happy to help and hope you enjoy playing with your new products

Sometimes its the little things that make all the difference

Convention talk.......

I wanted to share with you some more convention excitement

Convention is a fantastic opportunity to gain some inspiration and ideas for that ever growing stamp collection.

I gave a few sneaky peaks at the projects I had mad for my swaps
(Swaps: each demonstrator makes a bundle of samples and swaps them with other demonstrators in attendance.  This increases the samples you have for display purposes at classes/crops)
so now its time to share the actual swaps with you all

General Swaps

I only made 80 general swaps and wish I had made more
I used
2013-2015 In Colour cardstock and Inks
Bitty Butterfly Punch
Label Love Stamp Set
Artisan Label Punch
Envelope Punch Board
Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and Big Shot

Team and Roomie Swaps

I loved making these and made a bigger note pad for my Upline Carole - her notepad included a pocket on the inside of the cover that was big enough to hold a card or any notes/leaflets she may have collected.
I got the idea from Brandys Cards where she used the secret garden set to make notepad covers

I used:
Flower Shop Stamp Set
Pansy Punch
Chocolate chip Cardstock and Ink
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Crumb Cake Ink
Vintage Verses Stamp Set (Retired)

I really enjoyed making these and I hope the recipients liked them

All the products used can be found on my online shop by clicking the button below

Pop back on friday when I will share with you some of the gorgeous Christmas swaps I received at convention in my Festive Friday post

MDS Monday

After such an invigorating time at convention I have decided I need to revamp some of my business ideas and that I need to be using My Digital Studio more to help with that.
I decided that I needed to create some new posters for advertising what I do - both online and IRL

1st up was my Stampers club - which is extremely successful and my customers seem to really like and value being part of the club.

Using the Downtown Grunge package on MDS I created this poster

Although I have had MDS for a while Im not using it to its full potential so I am challenging myself
I probably could have made the poster alot more Grungy (if thats the correct word to use hehe) but I was already out of my comfort zone and didn't want to push myself to far hehe

I have recently downloaded lots more MDS goodies and cant wait to play with them
What are you creating with MDS?
Please share your creations with me and I will feature you on an MDS Monday blog post :)

You can purchase MDS (Either the FREE Trial or full version) at my online shop by clicking the shop now button below

Maybe you are interested in one of my Stampers clubs (all new clubs will be started in January)
then please contact me (details on poster)

Product of the month

Hello again and happy Hump day :)

I hope you all had a fantastic bonfire Night last night :)
We stayed in last night but stood watching the fireworks across Wigan from my sons bedroom as the view from there is absolutely fabulous.
We had the joy of the fireworks while staying warm and dry :)

Its time for me to tell you all about my FABULOUS Product of the month

The Envelope punch board
(133774 £17.95)

This product is new to Stampin' up and only went on sale 1st november!!!

Create your own envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different colour and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use).

It’s fabulously easy to use.
It looks intimidating at first glance, but  all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score it couldn't be easier.

It’s small and light enough that you could use it while watching a football/rugby match, at a park, at a friend’s for craft night—anywhere.

It even has a clever scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.

It’s easy to keep it all together, the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don’t have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won’t lose them!)

The price is terrific - It is only £2.50 more than a punch!!!!

It will be in next year’s annual catalogue, so it’s here to stay.

The instructions come in both metric and imperial - no add-ons needed.

It does so much more than make envelopes
I have seen:
Wallets for vouchers or cash
Exploding boxes
Gift tags
and much much more :)

Here is a video demonstration from Stampin' up to show you how easy it is :)

Over the next month I will be sharing with you some of the projects that have been made with this FABULOUS tool.

So what are you waiting for??
