How was Yours?

So Christmas is over :(

I trust you all had a fabulous time and Santa left you lots of crafting goodies under the tree.
l didn t get any crafting goodies but lots of pennies to spend on crafting goodies so I'm happy

I didnt do much crafting over Christmas except to make a birthday card for my son who turned 7 on Christmas Day (l planned that one well didnt I?)

l use the owl punch-which is fast becoming one of my favorites.
I love how versatile the punch is-keep your eyes open for more fabulous projects made with it.

Convention talk.......

I wanted to share with you some more convention excitement

Convention is a fantastic opportunity to gain some inspiration and ideas for that ever growing stamp collection.

I gave a few sneaky peaks at the projects I had mad for my swaps

(Swaps: each demonstrator makes a bundle of samples and swaps them with other demonstrators in attendance.  This increases the samples you have for display purposes at classes/crops)

so now its time to share the actual swaps with you all

I loved making these and made a bigger note pad for my Upline Carole - her notepad included a pocket on the inside of the cover that was big enough to hold a card or any notes/leaflets she may have collected.

I got the idea from Brandys Cards where she used the secret garden set to make notepad covers

MDS Monday

After such an invigorating time at convention I have decided I need to revamp some of my business ideas and that I need to be using My Digital Studio more to help with that.

I decided that I needed to create some new posters for advertising what I do - both online and IRL

1st up was my Stampers club - which is extremely successful and my customers seem to really like and value being part of the club.

Using the Downtown Grunge package on MDS I created this poster

Although I have had MDS for a while Im not using it to its full potential so I am challenging myself

I probably could have made the poster alot more Grungy (if thats the correct word to use hehe) but I was already out of my comfort zone and didn't want to push myself to far hehe

I have recently downloaded lots more MDS goodies and cant wait to play with them
